Diaconal Ordination of Bro. João Víctor dos Santos Silva, C.R., originally from the Theatine Province of Brazil
As you can read in the poster published below, soon – on June 14, 2020, at 11:00 Italian time – S.E.R. Mons. Jorge Carlos Patrón Wong, Archbishop-Bishop Emeritus of Papantla (Mexico) and current Secretary for the Seminars of the Congregation for the Clergy, will confer the sacrament of Holy Order in the first degree of the diaconate on Brother João Víctor dos Santos Silva, CR, a theatine religious with solemn vows that is part of the General House of Sant’Andrea della Valle, in Rome.
João Víctor was born on April 24, 1991, in Itapetininga, São Paulo, Brazil and made his perpetual profession with solemn vows in the Order of Theatines Regular Clerics on February 1, 2020.
This brother of ours, originally from the Theatine Province “Paulo VI” of Brazil, has completed his Juniorate and theology studies in Rome, forming part of the International Theatine College “San José María Tomasi” and obtaining the title of Bachelor of Theology in the Pontifical Gregorian University. In this headquarters of high studies he is studying the cycle of the Degree in Moral Theology.
