With deep gratitude, we share two meaningful moments experienced by our Order of Clerics Regular Theatines during this Holy Year of Hope, moments that have drawn us closer to the universal journey of the Church.

Visit of Cardinal Robert Prevost to Sant’Andrea della Valle

As part of the Jubilee of Deacons, we had the joy of welcoming the then Cardinal Robert Prevost, now His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, to our Basilica of Sant’Andrea della Valle in Rome.
His presence was a powerful sign of faith and pastoral closeness, shared with many pilgrim deacons and faithful gathered for this special moment of grace.

Concelebration at St. Peter’s in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe

On December 12, 2024, our General Superior, Rev. Fr. Salvador Rodea González, C.R., had the blessing of concelebrating Holy Mass with then Cardinal Prevost at the Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe in St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City.
The celebration was marked by deep Marian devotion and continental spirit, as prayers were offered for the peoples of the Americas and for the whole Church.

Prayer and hope with Pope Leo XIV

We thank the Lord for these moments lived in communion, and we lift our prayers for the pontificate of Pope Leo XIV, asking the Lord to strengthen him in his ministry as the Successor of Peter.
We entrust him with filial devotion to our saints: St. Cajetan, St. Andrew Avellino, and St. Joseph Mary Tomasi, that they may intercede for his ministry and for the Church in this time of hope.
