Three Theatine Brothers Will Receive the Ministry of Lector in Morlupo
With joy and a spirit of communion, the Order of Clerics Regular invites the faithful to participate in the Holy Mass during which the ministry of Lector will be conferred upon Br. Edgardo Ismael Piña Macías, C.R., Br. Eduardo Campos de Dios, C.R., and Br. Iván Cayetano de Jesús, C.R.
The celebration will take place on May 30, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at Saint Cajetan Parish in Morlupo, and will be presided over by the Very Rev. Fr. Salvador Rodea González, C.R., Superior General of the Order of Clerics Regular.
The ministry of Lector represents a significant step in the formation journey of those preparing for a fuller dedication to the service of the Church. Through this ministry, the candidates are called in a particular way to proclaim the Word of God within the liturgical and pastoral life of the Christian community, becoming servants and witnesses of the Gospel.
For the entire Theatine family, this celebration is a source of profound hope and gratitude to the Lord, who continues to raise up generous vocations for the service of the People of God. Likewise, the whole Church rejoices in these important steps that strengthen vocational life and the evangelizing commitment of new generations.
We entrust our brothers Edgardo Ismael, Eduardo, and Iván to the intercession of our Father Saint Cajetan of Thiene, asking the Lord to accompany and strengthen them on this path of fidelity, dedication, and service.
