Br. Facundo Martínez, C.R., Received the Ministry of Acolyte in La Plata
With deep joy and a spirit of thanksgiving, the Argentine Province of the Order of Clerics Regular celebrated on April 26, 2026, the institution of Br. Facundo Martínez, C.R., into the ministry of Acolyte during the Eucharistic celebration held at Saint Cajetan Parish and Shrine in La Plata.
The Holy Mass was presided over by Fr. Mariano Salvador, C.R., Provincial Superior, who conferred this ministry upon Br. Facundo in the presence of members of the Theatine community, family members, friends, and faithful gathered to accompany this meaningful moment in his vocational journey with prayer and affection.
The ministry of Acolyte represents an important step in the formation and self-giving of those preparing for service in the Church. Through this ministry, the acolyte is called in a closer way to the service of the altar and the Eucharist, collaborating in the liturgical and pastoral life of the Christian community.
For the Theatine Order, this celebration is a source of true hope and gratitude. Every new vocational milestone renews our awareness of the Lord’s action, as He continues to call and sustain men willing to dedicate their lives to the proclamation of the Gospel and to the service of the People of God. Likewise, the whole Church rejoices in witnessing vocations that respond with generosity and faith to Christ’s call.
We entrust Br. Facundo Martínez, C.R., to the intercession of our Father Saint Cajetan of Thiene, asking the Lord to strengthen and accompany him on this path of dedication, fidelity, and service.
