On Saturday, December 14th, the Sanctuary of Saint Cajetan in La Plata was filled with joy to celebrate the solemn profession of Brother Santiago Daue, C.R., who took this important step in his journey within the Order of Clerics Regular of the Theatines.
During the heartfelt ceremony, the Provincial Prepositus, Fr. Pedro Miguel Romero, C.R., delivered a profound homily, reminding Brother Santiago that “Theatine religious life is not just a way of life but a way of love”. He emphasized that this vocation is a way to love God and others, following the example of the Theatine saints: St. Cajetan, St. Andrew Avellino, and St. Joseph Mary Tomasi.
Fr. Pedro urged Santiago not to settle for a mediocre religious life but to live it with passion, enthusiasm, and a radical commitment to the cause of the Kingdom, also reminding him that he has the support and companionship of the community of Theatine Fathers.
At the end of the ceremony, the Theatine communities of La Plata, Boulogne, and Villa Adelina shared a warm fraternal agape with Brother Santiago, closing the day with joy and fraternity.
