It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Br. Claudio Carneiro de Melo, CR; religious of temporary vows of our Province Paul VI of Brazil of the Order of Clerics Regular – Theatines, who died this Monday (05).
Born in Santa Maria de Suaçuí-MG, Br. Claudio Carneiro de Melo, CR; was born on November 26, 1995. In 2021, he joined the Novitiate in our Religious Family, professing the Vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience on January 29, 2022 at the Nossa Senhora das Dores Parish, in Fartura-SP. Currently, Sr. Cláudio was studying the 1st year of the Theology Course at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC-MG) and resided at the Santo Adré Avelino Training House, in Contagem-MG.
We still don’t know the cause, but everything indicates that it was a sudden illness that came to affect the death. As soon as timely we will issue a note about wake and burial.
May God comfort the hearts of all family and friends, begging the Lord to grant our brother rest and eternal light! R.I.P.
