Last Tuesday, June 22, 2021, in the morning, the Procurator General and Postulator General for the Causes of Saints of our Order of Regular Clerics Theatines, R.P. Ambrosio Cots Dorca, C.R., paid a courtesy visit to Archbishop Georg Gänswein, Titular Archbishop of Urbisaglia and Prefect of the Pontifical Household. It should be noted that the latter is one of the many functions that this prelate of German origin performs in the Roman Curia.
The aforementioned meeting took place in the monastery located within the Vatican walls, where Bishop Gänswein shares his daily life with Benedict XVI, Supreme Pontiff Emeritus [cf. Annuario Pontificio 2021, p.1], of whom he is the personal secretary.
Father Ambrosio took the opportunity to extend to Bishop Gänswein the invitation to preside over the Holy Mass in honor of Saint Andrew Avelino on November 10, 2021 in the Basilica of Sant’Andrea della Valle.
