Saint Cajetan Parish of Rome, elevated to Cardinal Title
Today, September 30, 2023, during the Ordinary Public Consistory for the Creation of new Cardinals, Pope Francis elevated the Parish of San Cajetan in Rome, belonging to the Theatine Province of Italy, to Cardinal Title. The titular is H.E. Mons. Diego Rafael Padrón Sánchez, archbishop emeritus of Cumaná (Venezuela). And the inauguration will be in January 2024.
