*** On September 8, 2021, Mr. François Schadrack Iyondo Ikoli, born in Mbandaka, Democratic Republic of Congo, on January 9, 1991, and student of the licentiate in philosophy at the Pontifical University “St. Thomas Aquinas” (Angelicum) in Rome, began an experience of community integration and vocational accompaniment at Sant’Andrea della Valle.
*** Today we celebrate the memory of St. Jerome, the saint who venerated the manger of Bethlehem as much as he loved the sacred text of the Judeo-Christian Scriptures, and whose presence is highlighted by our St. Cajetan in his mystical experience of Christmas 1517. Precisely, the memory of the Dalmatian saint reminds us of the priestly ordination of Cajetan of Thiene on September 30, 1516.
May we too renew our priestly ministry today, beseeching the Lord to grant us the grace to persevere on this path!
