Pray for the sick: Our brothers in Italy, Mexico and Spain
Throughout the month of May we have received news of the health of some of our brothers who, scattered throughout various parts of the world, have experienced some health difficulties. In this space we want to continue offering our sincere prayer for them and share the current situation in which they find themselves.
Italy
Fr. Salvatore Atardo, CR.
Our dear brother, Father Salvatore, was hospitalized due to high blood sugar last week. After the correct intervention of the medical services, Father Salvatore recovered favorably and yesterday (May 31) he was able to go home. The community has not ceased to be present and attentive to this brother of ours, whom we entrust to the help of the Most Holy Virgin of the Rosary.
Mexico
Fr. Angel Jaime, CR.
The Provincial Secretary of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe and San Cayetano, of Mexico, the Rvdo. Fr. José Saavedra, CR, tells us that Fr. Ángel was recently operated on for a skin-related ailment. The latest information is that after overcoming a relapse, our brother, Fr. Ángel, progresses in his improvement.
From these pages we entrust it to the intercession of the Mother of Guadalupe, Mary Most Holy.
Spain
Fr. Jordi Cassà, CR.
Our brother, Fr. Jordi, has undergone successful surgery in the Spanish city of Barcelona and is now at home recovering. Just a few days ago (on May 30) the 69th anniversary of his priestly ordination was celebrated. Let us pray to La Moreneta, Virgin of Montserrat, so that she does not stop protecting our brother Fr. Jordi.
Fr. Pedro Estelrich, CR.
After a hospital stay of more than a month, Fr. Pedro will finally leave the hospital where he underwent surgery due to a broken femur. Due to his state of immobility, he will spend a season in the institution of the Brothers of San Juan de Dios, in Mallorca, where work will be done on his rehabilitation so that he regains mobility. Estelrich celebrated his 90th birthday on May 4. We pray to the Virgin of Purity to help this brother of ours in a maternal way.
