Argentine theologian and Vicar General of the Order of Clerics Regular Theatines, Father Marcelo Raúl Zubia, recently participated in the program “Dentro la Notizia” on the Italian channel LaC TV, where he addressed concerns regarding Pope Francis’ health. The Supreme Pontiff is currently hospitalized at the Gemelli Hospital in Rome due to bilateral pneumonia.
During his intervention, Father Zubia emphasized that there is no “pre-conclave” in the Catholic Church and that as long as the Pope is able to govern, he can continue leading the Church. These statements aim to reassure the global Catholic community, highlighting the stability and continuity of the Church’s spiritual leadership.
