Feast of the Assumption in Chaves (Portugal)

Fr. Marcos Del Miro, C.R., of the Teatina mission in Vendas Novas (Évora, Portugal), actively participated in the celebrations of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in the Sanctuary of St. Cajetan of Ervededo, in Chaves, Portugal. During the festivity, the traditional procession took place, in which the venerated images of the Virgin Mary and St. Cajetan, patron saint of the Theatines, were carried on platforms. Father Marcos accompanied the faithful in this moving act of devotion, strengthening the faith and the community around the Virgin Mary and Saint Cajetan.
