Passing of Fr. Gino Giuseppe Quattrini, C.R.
With deep sorrow, yet sustained by the faith and hope that flow from the Gospel, the Order of Clerics Regular (Theatines) announces the return to the Father’s House of our dear brother Fr. Gino Giuseppe Quattrini, C.R., who passed away today, December 29, 2025, in Vicenza.
The Lord has called to Himself a priest who lived his vocation with simplicity, fidelity, and daily dedication, deeply rooted in the Theatine charism of trust in Divine Providence and humble service to the People of God.
He was currently serving as rector of the Church of Saint Cajetan in Vicenza, where he was for many a discreet and close presence, an attentive pastor, a patient confessor, and a brother always ready to serve. His calm words, respectful listening, and warm manner left a lasting mark on all who shared with him the journey of faith.
He lived his priesthood as a gift offered day by day, especially through his accompaniment of those in situations of fragility, bearing witness through his life to God’s mercy and the Church’s closeness. As a true Theatine, he united prayer, fraternal life, and pastoral service in a life given without reserve.
With gratitude and affection, we now entrust him to the merciful embrace of the Lord, confident that the One he served with love welcomes him into the peace promised to faithful servants. We thank the Father for the gift of his life, for his priestly witness, and for having had him as a brother and shepherd.
May the Virgin Mary, Most Pure Mother, Saint Cajetan, Saint Joseph Maria Tomasi, and Saint Andrew Avellino accompany him into eternal life.
May he rest in the peace of the Lord.
