During the first week of July, the Theatine Province of Mexico joyfully hosted the vocational encounter “Come and You Will See”, aimed at young people discerning a call to religious life.
The motto “Come and You Will See”, taken from the Gospel of John, is Jesus’ personal invitation to His first disciples—especially Nathanael—to not only hear about Him, but to meet Him, to walk with Him, and to be transformed by His presence.
This gathering marked the beginning of the Aspirancy, the first stage of formation in the consecrated life. It is a time of discernment, where the young person draws closer to the community, and both discern together whether God is calling him to this path.
Present throughout the encounter were the Provincial Superior, Fr. Eduardo Bello, C.R., and the Theatine Fathers:
Fr. David Arroyo Alonso, C.R.
Fr. Pablo Guillermo Almazán Gómez Tagle, C.R.
Fr. Humberto González Chavarría, C.R.
Through prayer, reflection, formation, and community life, the young men were invited to encounter Christ and to listen deeply to His call.
Jesus still calls today. Come and you will see!
