In memory of Sister Francisca María Gil Navazo, R.T.
With profound sorrow in our hearts, we lift our prayers and thoughts in this moment of grief for the passing of Sister Francisca María Gil Navazo, former Mother Superior of the Teatine Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, who returned to the Father’s house today, December 7, 2024.
Sister Francisca María was a beacon of faith and dedication, whose life, fully devoted to the service of God and the religious community, left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her example of humility, charity, and love for the Church remains a living legacy in our Teatine family.
Through these words, we wish to express our spiritual and fraternal closeness to the current Mother Superior, Sister María de los Ángeles Vicente Mari, R.T., to all the Teatine Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, and to the family and loved ones of Sister Francisca María. May the certainty of her encounter with the Risen Christ bring comfort and hope in this time of sorrow.
May she rest in peace, and may the light that knows no end shine upon her.
