Theatine Provincial Chapter 2025: A Time of Discernment and Hope Amidst Mourning
The Theatine Province of Spain-Colombia “of the Immaculate and Saint Alfonso” is gathered at the Sanctuary House of Our Lady of Castañar, Béjar (Salamanca), from today, April 21st, to April 25th, 2025, to celebrate its Ordinary Provincial Chapter.
This important moment of communion and fraternal renewal begins at a time of profound sadness for the universal Church, marked by the unexpected passing of His Holiness, Pope Francis. The Theatine Province joins in prayer with the entire Catholic community during this time of mourning.
In this context, the Theatine religious, with the participation of Rev. Fr. Salvador Rodea González, C.R., Superior General of the Theatine Order, entrust themselves to the Risen Lord. They especially ask for the light of the Holy Spirit to guide their discernment and strengthen their path of hope, fidelity, and love in their vocation and ecclesial service.
The Theatine Province of Spain-Colombia extends a fervent invitation to all Theatine provinces and communities around the world to raise their prayers for the successful development and fruits of this Provincial Chapter.
