Ad multos annos !! 60th anniversary celebration of the Parish of San Gaetano in Rome
Last Sunday, May 29, in the parish of San Gaetano in Rome, H.E. Card. Angelo De Donatis, Vicar of the Pope for the diocese of Rome, presided over the Holy Mass together with Fr. Marcelo Zubia C.R. and P. Antonio Cabrera C.R. of the General Curia, the parish priest P. Umberto Micillo C.R. and his collaborators, Fr. Marquinhos C.R., Fr. Juan Miguel C.R. and P. Héctor C.R, and some members of the Theatine College.
During the celebration, the priests and the lay family thanked God for the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Parish of San Caetano which from the beginning was entrusted to the Theatine Fathers.
After the Mass, the Cardinal blessed a small apartment, the result of the Casa Mia project. This is a welcome project for which the parish, with the help of the diocesan Caritas, makes some rooms available for a family in economic difficulty. “The will, says P. Umberto Micillo, is to leave a tangible sign and a visible trace of the anniversary, truly making a new reality our community”.
A concrete sign of fraternal charity that gives not only space, but an opportunity for a better life to the people who will live there.
