Deacon Rosario Calvaruso, C.R., Will Be Ordained to the Priesthood in Palermo
With immense joy and profound thanksgiving to the Lord, the Order of Theatine Clerics Regular and the Calvaruso family invite the faithful to participate in the Priestly Ordination of Deacon Rosario Calvaruso, C.R.
The Holy Mass will take place on Sunday, June 21, at 10:30 a.m., at the Church of San Giuseppe dei Teatini ai Quattro Canti in Palermo. The celebration will be presided over by His Excellency Archbishop Corrado Lorefice, Metropolitan Archbishop of Palermo, through the laying on of hands and the consecratory prayer.
Priestly ordination is one of the most significant moments in the life of the Church and the Theatine Order. Through the sacrament of Holy Orders, Deacon Rosario will be configured more fully to Christ the Good Shepherd and called to serve the People of God through the proclamation of the Gospel, the celebration of the sacraments, and the generous offering of his life in priestly ministry.
For the entire Theatine family, this celebration is a source of deep hope and gratitude as we witness how the Lord continues to call and sustain vocations consecrated to the service of the Church. Likewise, the ecclesial community rejoices in accompanying this new vocational step, the fruit of a journey of faith, discernment, and dedication.
We entrust Deacon Rosario Calvaruso, C.R., to the intercession of our Father Saint Cajetan of Thiene, asking the Lord to strengthen and guide him in his future priestly ministry, so that he may always be a faithful servant of the Gospel and a witness to the charity of Christ.
