Father Tacilio Recovers Well After Cataract Surgery
With a spirit of fraternal communion, the Theatine Order joyfully shares that Father Tacilio, one of the pillars of the Theatine Mission in Portugal, has recently undergone cataract surgery after a prolonged period of waiting within the national healthcare system.
Trusting in God’s providence and accompanied by Father Henrique, the procedure was carried out through the International Center of Ophthalmology of Évora, taking place in the city of Badajoz.
Thanks be to God, the surgery proceeded normally with a favorable outcome. Father Tacilio is currently at the House of Formation in Évora, where he continues his recovery with serenity, gratitude, and hope, while also following the necessary medical check-ups.
