On January 31, young members of the Theatine Network Mexico and the youth group Jóvenes de Hoy, from the parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Saint Cajetan, took part in the pilgrimage to Cerro del Cubilete, located in the municipality of Silao, in the state of Guanajuato.
According to the official document Testimonio y Esperanza, approximately 70,000 young people from various regions of the country gathered during this meaningful event to commemorate the centenary of the Cristero War. The pilgrimage was experienced as a moment of encounter, prayer, and reflection, in which new generations renewed their Christian identity and their hope amid today’s challenges.
The participation of Theatine youth in this national event was a powerful sign of a living faith, rooted in the witness of those who defended their beliefs, and open to the call of Christ the King to continue building a more just and fraternal society.
