The Theatine Order begins a pastoral mission in the Sierra Tarahumara
The Order of Clerics Regular Theatines has begun a new missionary experience in the Sierra Tarahumara (Chih., MX), in response to the pastoral request of the Bishop of the Diocese of Tarahumara, Most Rev. Juan Manuel González Sandoval, M. N. M.
In this context, Father Octavio García, C.R., has been sent to serve in the Parish of Baborigame, offering his priestly ministry to the communities of this vast region in northern Mexico.
During his first days in the Tarahumara, Father Octavio visited several communities, including a community dedicated to Saint Cajetan, within the Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe, entrusted to the Order by the diocesan Bishop.
The mission unfolds in communion with the local Church through pastoral encounters and accompaniment. We entrust this mission to Divine Providence, praying for abundant spiritual fruits.
