The recent publication of the collective volume Trayectorias cruzadas. Catolicismos y pol\u00edtica en la Am\u00e9rica Latina contempor\u00e1nea<\/em>, published by the Editorial of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, offers a valuable contribution to the analysis of the relationship between faith, society, and politics in our continent. The work brings together research by various specialists and academic centers devoted to the critical study of Latin American reality.<\/p>\n

Among its authors is the Vicar General of the Theatine Order, Rev. Fr. Marcelo R. Zub\u00eda, C.R., professor at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, who contributes the chapter entitled: \u201cSe\u00f1or, quiero estar con ellos a la hora de la luz\u201d: analysis of the relationship between Catholic formation and popular militancy in Argentina in the 1970s and in the time of Pope Francis<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In this work, Fr. Zub\u00eda offers a historical and theological reading of Catholic formation in Argentina, highlighting the role of popular piety, educational institutions, and ecclesial associations as true spaces for the shaping of faith and social commitment. His analysis sheds light on the links between religious experience, community life, and participation in historical processes, particularly in the 1970s, and offers interpretative keys in dialogue with the magisterium and pastoral witness of Pope Francis.<\/p>\n

The contribution of Fr.
