The Funeral Mass, celebrated in St. Peter&#8217;s Square, brought together faithful, ecclesiastical and civil authorities from all over the world in a ceremony filled with gratitude and affection for the Holy Father.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3364\" data-end=\"3725\">The <strong data-start=\"3368\" data-end=\"3408\">Order of Clerics Regular (Theatines)<\/strong> was present at this historic event. Representing the Order were the <strong data-start=\"3477\" data-end=\"3494\">Vicar General<\/strong>, Rev. Fr. <strong data-start=\"3505\" data-end=\"3531\">Marcelo R. Zubia, C.R.<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"3537\" data-end=\"3598\">Rector of the Basilica of Sant&#8217;Andrea della Valle in Rome<\/strong>, Rev. Fr. <strong data-start=\"3609\" data-end=\"3640\">Jo\u00e3o Marcos Boranelli, C.R.<\/strong>, along with Rev. Fathers <strong data-start=\"3666\" data-end=\"3693\">Henrique Nunes Oliveira<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"3698\" data-end=\"3724\">Luis Alc\u00e1ntara, CC.RR.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3727\" data-end=\"3996\">During the moving procession that accompanied the Holy Father&#8217;s casket from St. Peter\u2019s Basilica to the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the cortege passed in front of our beloved <strong data-start=\"3904\" data-end=\"3943\">Basilica of Sant&#8217;Andrea della Valle<\/strong>, a deeply significant place for the Theatine family.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3998\" data-end=\"4196\">The passage of the casket in front of our Basilica was lived with deep emotion, as if Pope Francis, in his final earthly pilgrimage, had wished to greet once again the house of Saint Cajetan\u2019s sons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"4198\" data-end=\"4325\">We lift up our prayers to the Lord for the soul of Pope Francis, giving thanks for his humble, merciful, and missionary spirit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"4327\" data-end=\"4364\"><strong data-start=\"4327\" data-end=\"4364\">May eternal light shine upon
