The Theatine Fathers of Argentina gathered with the parish communities, chapels, mission centers and educational centers of Villa Adelina, Boulogne and La Plata to celebrate St. Cajetan in the Jubilee year of the Order.<\/p>\n

In his homily Father Provincial R.P. Pedro Romero C.R. said that “the Theatine Jubilee is a special gift of grace that we all live. It is of great spiritual, ecclesial and social importance”.<\/p>\n

He also told us that the Jubilee motto “Theatines for the world and the Church of today” invites us in the midst of the world to be Theatine priests who are able to communicate the goodness of the Lord, to be experts in humanity, shepherds willing to share the joys and sorrows of their brothers, priests who know how to listen to the cry of those who suffer.<\/p>\n

For the Church of today, lay Theatines of spiritual life and humble of heart, open to the newness of the Spirit and close to the wounds of the men and women of our society.<\/p>\n

Father Pedro invited everyone to continue working to be Theatines for the world and the Church of today. After the mass he thanked everyone for coming and sharing the mass.<\/p>\n
