“In an effort to preserve the rich history and tradition that surround the Basilica Sant’Andrea della Valle in Rome, we embarked on an ambitious project that seeks to elevate the visitor experience through the integration of cutting-edge technologies. A call for modernization that respects the centuries-old essence of this iconic place of worship.<\/em><\/p>\n “Teatinos for the World and the Church Today” is more than a slogan; it is our commitment to contemporaneity and the ongoing relevance of our mission. The challenge comes in the form of old posters, mute witnesses of decades past. While these elements have endured over time, it is undeniable that most pilgrims today are immersed in a technological world. To embrace this reality and enrich the visit, we propose the implementation of horizontal totems, conceived as modern mirrors, capable of showing spirituality through the lens of innovation.<\/em><\/p>\n Let’s imagine an interactive experience where devotees can explore the masterpieces, such as Mattia Preti’s 16th century painting, not only as mere spectators, but as protagonists of their own spiritual connection. These totems will allow for manipulation, bringing the image closer and, at the same time, conveying a message of evangelization that resonates in the hearts of the faithful.<\/em><\/p>\n Preti’s painting, in which St. Andrew is crucified in the shape of an X, becomes a fundamental starting point for communicating the Gospel message. Through technology, we want to proclaim that today we are all disciples of Jesus, called to witness and live the Gospel. This message transcends the barriers of time and art, carrying with it the very essence of faith.<\/em><\/p>\n Aware of the need to captivate today’s audience, our proposal seeks not only to delight visually, but also to inspire deep reflection. Less words, more meaning; less images, more impact. This project stands as a bridge between the veneration of the past and contemporaneity, where technology becomes an ally of spirituality. We are committed to finding the perfect harmony between the history that defines us and the innovation that propels us into the future.”<\/em><\/p>\n
