Order of Clerics Regular,<\/strong> is a clerical Institute of Religious Consecrated Life, which came to light on 14 September 1524. That day Gian Pietro Caraffa (later Pope Paul IV), Gaetano de Thiene (Cajetan), Bonifacio de’Colli and Pablo Consiglieri, four men of faith, committed to the desire to reform the Church “in the head and in the members”, they make their religious profession before the Pontifical Delegate for this purpose, Giovanni Bauttista Bonciani, the Bishop of Caserta.<\/span><\/p>\nThat act encompasses a process begun some time earlier when the priest and jurist consult Gaetano Di Thiene settled again in Rome (1523) and continued to act in the Oratory of Divine Love. In this environment, he made a deep friendship with another member of this oratory, Gian Pietro Caraffa, Bishop of Chieti \u2013 a city that in Latin is called Theate<\/em> and which gives the name to our order “Theatine”), Archbishop of Brindisi, as well as examiner of the Roman clergy by Pope Clement VII. <\/span><\/p>\nThe two clerics drew up plans for the renewal of ecclesiastical life, having clerical discipline as a reference axis. The idea-force was the formation of an established group of priests, albeit a minority, who could be a figure and a model for the life of clergymen. Las Teatinas, “sin m\u00e1s regla que el Amor”<\/h3>\n
En el mismo a\u00f1o 1547 en el que san Cayetano ofrec\u00eda su vida por la paz de N\u00e1poles, partiendo para la Casa del Padre celestial, nac\u00eda en esa ciudad \u00darsula Benincasa. De personalidad emotiva y so\u00f1adora, \u00darsula reuni\u00f3 un d\u00eda un grupo de amigas y familiares con las cuales constituy\u00f3 una comunidad de vida consagrada, habitando en un convento situado en el monte Sant\u2019Elmo, siempre en N\u00e1poles. Como objetivo espiritual y apost\u00f3lico, buscaban dedicarse a la contemplaci\u00f3n de las cosas divinas y ayudar a las j\u00f3veness napolitanas a promoverse como mujeres libres y preparadas.<\/p>\n
La Congregaci\u00f3n de Religiosas Teatinas de la Inmaculada Concepci\u00f3n fue fundada por la Venerable \u00darsula Benincasa en el a\u00f1o 1583, en N\u00e1poles (Italia) movida por un solo deseo: \u201c a gloria de Dios y la salvaci\u00f3n de las almas\u201d. Iluminada por el testimonio de su fundadora, la Congregaci\u00f3n hizo propio un lema que ha tenido buena repercusi\u00f3n en la espiritualidad cat\u00f3lica: \u201cSin m\u00e1s regla que el amor\u201d.<\/p>\n
Nuestra Constituciones dedican el cap\u00edtulo VII, de la Primera Parte de las mismas, a nuestras Relaciones fraternas con las Religiosas Teatinas, y afirman, particularmente, que \u201c la Congregaci\u00f3n de los Cl\u00e9rigos Regulares y las Religiosas Teatinas de la Inmaculada Concepci\u00f3n de la Madre de Dios, vinculados de manera peculiar por una comuni\u00f3n espiritual, forman en el seno de la Santa Madre Iglesia como una m\u00e1s amplia familia religiosa, estrechamente unida por los lazos de la caridad y de la tradici\u00f3n\u201d, Const. CC.RR., art. 94.<\/p>\n
Ello nos invita a seguir adelante con el cultivo de estas relaciones fraternas en modo de establecer puntos de colaboraci\u00f3n, que impulsen una rec\u00edproca asistencia en la labor apost\u00f3lica, de manera que pueda cristalizarse este esp\u00edritu solidario en un signo claro y tangible de unidad eclesial.<\/p>\n
